Is ICFAI ODL Programs recognized?
- Yes. ICFAI ODL Programs are UGC entitled. The programs are offered by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) which is a deemed to be university (Category I Autonomous Institution). IFHE is Accredited by NAAC with A++ Grade.

What is the learning methodology of ICFAI ODL Programs?
- The learning happens through self-study. Self-learning material (SLM) will be provided in the form of books. There is a dedicated ODL support team. Interactive sessions are arranged with faculty for academic support.

How are the examinations held?
- Examinations (end semester) are computer based and are held at the designated exam centres. The questions consist of Multiple choice questions (MCQs), short answer questions and essays. Examination carries 70% weightage (the remaining 30% is from continuous assessment (written assignments).

Where are the examinations conducted?
- Examinations are conducted at designated centres within the territorial Jurisdiction of the University. At present examinations are conducted at IFHE CDOE – Study Centre, Hyderabad and Off Campus Centre at Bangalore.

How many times examination is conducted in a year? In which months?
- Examinations are conducted twice a year. Normally in January/February and July/August. The exact schedule is communicated to the students from time to time.

Do I need to come to Hyderabad for personal interview or during the course of study, after enrolment?
- No. There is no need to come to IFHE, Hyderabad for personal interview or during the course of study after enrolment.

What is the passing score?
- ICFAI ODL Programs follows grading system. The student is required to secure at the least a “C” grade to pass a subject.

What type of assignments are given to the students?
- Students are given home assignments (written) as a part of the continuous assessment. Each subject will have up to three assignments which are to be submitted by the deadline indicated. Assignments are in the form of questions, taken from the subject they study. As the study material provided by the University is comprehensive, students can refer the study material in details to arrive at the answers.

How are the assignments submitted?
- Assignments can be e mailed to a given e mail address. Even scanned handwritten scripts are accepted.

Do the scores of these assignments add up to the total marks?
- Yes. Assignments carry 30% weightage in performance evaluation of each subject (the remaining 70% comes from the end-semester examination).

Can a student skip the assignments?
- Since assignments carry 30% weightage in overall assessment, it is advisable that all assignments are promptly submitted in time.

What is the duration of ICFAI Open & Distance Learning (ODL) Program MBA Program?
- Duration of the program is two years. However, the enrolment is valid for 4 years.

- No. There is no admission test or interview. Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University with English as medium of instruction can apply.

How many subjects does a student need to pass to progress into the next semester?
- A student needs to clear at least 3 subjects out of 5 subjects in a semester in order to progress into the next semester. However, for progressing into Semester III, the student has to clear the back logs (if any) of Semester I. Similarly, for progressing into Semester IV, the student has to clear the back logs (if any) of Semester II.

What is the minimum eligibility to enrol in ICFAI’S Distance BBA Program offered by IFHE?
- Pass in Plus -2(Class XII) or equivalent examination (any discipline) with English as medium of instruction.

How many subjects does a student need to pass to progress into the next semester?
- A student has to clear at least 6 subjects out of 8 subjects per semester in order to progress into the next semester. However, for progressing into Semester III (i.e. into the 2nd year), the student has to clear the backlogs (if any) of Semester I & II and so on for subsequent years.
